We all know that there is educationally inappropriate content available on the World Wide Web. As educators, we face the challenge of guiding our students in the development of online research skills in a safe environment. Workshop participants will learn how to minimize the dangers of searching the web with students by using “kid-safe” search tools and implementing safe search strategies.
