Other Options

There are literally hundreds of other free or inexpensive website development options available on the web. If you would prefer to use another option with which you are familiar, send me the URL (web address) of the web hosting service and we can discuss the options.

If you decide to use one of these other options, create your web page or website and customize to meet your specific needs.

Be sure to include active hyperlinks to several of the age-appropriate and educationally relevant web resources that you have found while working on the second module of the course.

Those clickable hyperlinks are, in my opinion, one of the primary reasons for having a classroom website. It is so much safer to have students start their online explorations with a clickable link to websites that have been previewed and selected by the teacher than to just turn them loose with a search engine or a complicated web address that has to be entered into the browser location bar.

If you password protect your site be sure to send me the Username and Password that you set up for Student or Parent access when you have completed the blog so that I can view the site and verify your completion of the module requirement.
