Follow-up assignment

Take a quick look at the four articles on the What the Web Does course webpage. Select one of the articles to read and review.

The most recent article by Kevin Kelly is recommended for this assignment but you are welcome to use one of the earlier articles it it captures your interest.

After reading the articles, open the TEC 912 digital logbook and write a short review of the article in the space provided. Share this review with me via an e-mail message.

Hint: You can copy the text of your review into the computer clipboard by dragging across the text while holding down the mouse button. Select Copy from the NotePad/SimpleText Edit menu.

Then open an e-mail message addressed to bjost@josts.net . Title the message What the Web Does... Position the cursor in the body of the e-mail form and select Paste from the NotePad/SimpleText Edit menu to paste the review into the e-mail message. Send the message.

This completes the second module of the course.  In the next module you will begin to develop some basic Web search skills.   You may begin that module at any time by clicking on the Basic Web Searching link on the left side of the screen.
