Export Internet Explorer Favorites (PC)

Click on the File menu. Select Import and Export. When the Wizard appears, click on Next. Click on Export Favorites from the dialog box that appears. Click on Next. Click on the folder you wish to export. If you click on the top Favorites folder all of your Favorites will be exported. Click on Next. Click in the radio button in front of Export to a File or Address. Click on Browse. Navigate to the desktop. Change the default Bookmarks file name to your first initial followed by your last name (example: bjost.htm) Important Note: Use only lower-case letters. Do not use any spaces and be sure to include the .htm suffix. Click on Save. Click on Next when the Wizard screen reappears. Click on Finish to exit the Wizard. A dialog box will appear informing you that the export process was successful. Navigate to the desktop and locate the file. Double-clicking on the file should open Internet Explorer and display your exported favorites on the screen. Clicking on the links should take you to the associated webpage.
